Theatre tours are a permanent feature of our exhibition concept where we dramatise specific themes. They take place on the hour, every day the museum is open. Professional actors assume various roles and bring to life the world of history. Several times a year we compose new tours for adults, children or families.

Pradaschier - longest toboggan run of the world
With 31 curves and an elevator difference of 480 meters the toboggan run on over 3100 m winds itself to Tale. Seven to ten minutes for a trip. Owing to the carriage guide on rails the course is passable both in the summer as well as in the winter. By means of brake levers you determine their speed.

Zentrum Paul Klee
Some 10 000 works by Paul Klee (1879-1940) survive today. 4 000 of them are in the Zentrum Paul Klee in Berne: paintings, watercolours, puppets and drawings. Together with the extensive archives, this makes the ZPK a unique centre of expertise and research fort his classic among modern artists.

Our engine turns a propeller with 5 blades at a rate of 1000 rpm. This produces a vertical airstream that enables people to fly. The wind’s maximum speed reaches approx. 200 km/h. No experience needed. Our instructors prepare you efficiently for your first flight. The basic instruction contains a short movie that shows you, how to hold a stable body position.

Professions which today are rare or no longer exist are brought back to life again on original machines and thus their specific skills - our immaterial cultural heritage - are preserved and documented for posterity.
